Bangkok born, and I have spent nine years in hotel event management here, which is the reason I can tell you whether your venue will actually be ready at seven.
My bookings are conference and hospitality work: the dinner after the exhibition day, the rooftop reception, the awards evening in a ballroom. I know these rooms from the other side.
I plan itineraries around the rail line rather than the map, and it has never once made an evening longer.
