A weekend is the most relaxed booking we take. There is usually one fixed thing in it, a dinner or an event, and the rest is unplanned by design.
Two nights is enough time for the conversation to stop being polite, which is the point of booking a weekend rather than an evening. Companions who take these bookings tend to be the ones on our register longest.
Bring a rough shape rather than a schedule. Your companion will fill the gaps better than an itinerary will.
